When you choose to sign in to the app using Google Sign-In, we collect basic profile information provided by Google via Firebase Authentication:

• Full Name / Display Name

• Profile Picture URL (if available)

Note: You may use the app for offline reading without signing in. Signing in is optional and is used solely to synchronize your bookmarks across devices.

B. User Content & App Usage Data

• Verse Bookmarks & Highlights: Custom bookmarks, saved verses, and notes created within the app are stored locally on your device and, if signed in, synchronized securely to cloud servers so you can access them across your devices (Desktop/Laptop PC, Phone, Tablet, etc.).

• Local Caching: Content data (chapters, devotionals, and downloaded offline texts) is cached locally on your device using an embedded database to enable offline reading.

C. Automatically Collected Technical Data

The app uses standard Google Play Services and Firebase infrastructure, which may collect minimal technical information automatically (such as device model, OS version, and network status) solely for operational reliability, authentication, and offline synchronization.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly for the following purposes:

• Cross-Device Synchronization: To sync your verse bookmarks, highlights, and preferences across all devices where you sign in.

• Account Personalization: To greet you by name and display your account details on the "My Account" screen.

• Offline Functionality: To allow reading scripture texts and devotionals without an active internet connection.

• App Improvements & Security: To maintain service security, prevent fraud, and ensure backend operational stability.

3. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

The app utilizes the following trusted Google services to provide core functionality:

• Firebase Authentication: Handles secure user login via Google Sign-In.

• Google Play Services: Supports app distribution, account management, and framework security.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures (including HTTPS encryption and Firebase Security Rules) to protect your personal information and synced bookmarks from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

• Sign-Out: You can sign out of your account at any time from the My Account screen.

• Local Data Deletion: You can delete locally saved offline texts at any time via the Offline Data Sync options in the app settings.

• Account & Sync Data Deletion Request: If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated synced bookmarks from our cloud servers, please contact us at chhawrpial@gmail.com, and we will delete your stored data within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

Sâkhaw Lungphûm does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can promptly remove such data.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be reflected in the app and on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
